Gap assessments, remediation and audit preparation for Northeast Ohio manufacturers and defense suppliers that handle FCI or CUI.

TRNSFRM helps Cleveland area defense suppliers prepare for CMMC Level 1 and Level 2. We run a gap assessment against NIST SP 800-171, write your System Security Plan and POA&M, fix the technical gaps, calculate your SPRS score and organize the evidence an assessor will ask for. We are not a C3PAO and we do not certify anyone. Your formal Level 2 assessment is performed by an independent, authorized C3PAO, and we get you ready for it. Start with a Free 45-Minute Gap Audit.
If you make parts, provide services or ship products to a prime contractor or directly to the Department of Defense, your contract likely includes DFARS clauses that flow CMMC requirements down to you. That covers a lot of Cleveland area machine shops, fabricators, plastics molders, electronics assemblers and engineering firms.
The level depends on the information you handle. Federal Contract Information (FCI) points to Level 1: 15 basic safeguarding requirements and an annual self-assessment. Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), such as controlled drawings and technical data, points to Level 2: the 110 requirements in NIST SP 800-171, and for many contracts an assessment by a C3PAO every three years.
CMMC is not only paperwork. Most of the work is technical: MFA, logging, encryption, access control, backups and network segmentation between the office and the shop floor. Our engineers are based in North Royalton, so we can walk your floor, see how machines and file shares are connected, and fix what we find instead of handing you a report and leaving.
Because TRNSFRM also delivers managed IT, the same team that writes your SSP can operate the controls day to day and keep the evidence current.
TRNSFRM is a managed IT and cybersecurity company that prepares organizations for CMMC. We are not a C3PAO, we are not a Registered Provider Organization (RPO), and we do not issue certifications. Keeping preparation and assessment separate is how the program is designed, and it means our only job is getting you ready.
A working session that ends with a written 1-page risk snapshot, so you know where you stand before spending anything.
We map where FCI and CUI live and recommend the smallest defensible boundary.
Our engineers implement the missing technical controls and fix configurations across Microsoft 365, endpoints and the network.
We write the System Security Plan and Plan of Action and Milestones that match what is actually deployed.
We collect logs, screenshots and records over time so controls are proven, not just documented.
We help you prepare for and sit through your self-assessment or C3PAO assessment.
Leave with a written 1-page risk snapshot, scored against 47 controls, ranked by what an auditor checks first.
