Here are several common misconceptions that continue to create risk. ## Myth 1: Backups and disaster recovery are the same thing A backup simply creates a copy of your data. Disaster recovery is a comprehensive plan that outlines how your systems, applications, and operations will be restored after an incident. ## Myth 2: Disaster recovery is only for large enterprises Small and mid-sized businesses are often more vulnerable.
